Purple look with Aromaleigh + Teal glitter liner

I meant to post this look yesterday, but I was making blueberry bread so I could make some french toast with it this morning. OMG yum! As soon as I was finished with baking, I did a Cathe Friedrich workout (Muscle Max) and it's 72 minutes long and it really kicks your butt. So after a typical 11 hour work day, putting makeup on, cleaning, baking, exercising and washing my sweaty arse, I just wanted to go to bed.
I don't talk about exercising very much or at all on here. It's something that is very important to me. More so than makeup! I'm a very active person. I work out 4-5 times a week, mostly doing muscle sculpting and conditioning. No, I'm not body building or trying to lose weight. It seriously pisses me off when people tell me I'm too skinny to work out. I don't care what size you are, everyone needs to work out for your HEALTH. It's good for your heart, helps you live longer and helps your brain. So even just walking a mile every day is good for you. On the days I don't workout, my husband and I go walk 3 miles or so (about an hour). It's decent exercise and gives us much needed quality time together.
Something you don't know is I spend more money on workout DVD's and equipment more than makeup. *gasp*  It's true! If I had to pick working out or wearing makeup the rest of my life, I'd choose working out.
So with that being said, I'm skinny, I've always been skinny and I'm just maintaining my fitness and health. :-P
My fav areas to workout are my abs and butt. Why? Well, I think those are the basic problem areas for women so I work them out very hard to keep them in check. Most people think you have to do hundreds of sit-ups every day to get flat sexy abs but it's a total myth. Do NOT do that. Basic sit-ups/crunches only do so much and are not enough. I have flat, rock hard abs and I don't even do 100 sit-ups or work my abs out every day for that matter. The key is quality not quantity. If you want nice abs, then get an ab DVD that concentrates on ALL muscles of the core (upper abs, mid abs, lower abs, obliques and back). And do it every other day. Abs are no different than the rest of your body and if you work them out, you should let them rest in between workouts.
So I know that kathyfuckingjacobs works out which is AWESOME! Anyone else on here workout? I'd like to be able to share and discuss workout tips with anyone who is interested. I am a Cathe whore and mainly do her workouts so I'd like to hear what others do. :-) On my tired days, I might do Gilad or Sharon Mann.  Cathe is freaking EVIL and I heard Jillian is evil too. I might be willing to give her a try.

Anyway! Onto the makeup! Oh, and I think I found a good setting on my camera that doesn't make me look tan. Seriously took me forever! I had to change something, take a couple pics, change something take a couple pics and so on until I found the white balance and that is the only thing that worked. How annoying.

4th of July trip pics

So I relaize I'm very late on posting this but whatever! Just some random pics of me and the hubby visiting my little bro and his family the weekend of July 4th. It was the first time I got to meet his daughter, Adalynn. She's almost 2 and such a ham. OMG you can tell she is related to my family as she has so many different facial expressions...

So the picture taking started with me harassing Adalynn in the car on the way to go eat...

me and Adalynn

Agh!

I swear she did this just because the camera was out...yep, she is related to me!

She's such a sweetie

Made it to the restaurant. My brother Adam and his wife Lindsay here. Adalynn's name is a combo of both of their names. Sounds like something from The Lord of The Rings to me. :-)

Again, we're totally related.

OMG! This tiramisu was awesome! Adalynn liked it obviously...

See?

I asked Lindsay if I could borrow some of her cleavage. She just laughed at me.

me and Jas...we're too sexy. Hee hee!

us

Wow deer in headlights...I look like, "betch I'm on the phone!"

this is a book on there coffee table

What little kid isn't fascinated with their belly button?

Adam playing Condemned 2. Hey I just posted a pic with me playing this game!

Check him out ladies! Isn't he hot?! Heh heh!

So we were playing Cranium. The game is pretty boring so we decided to only use the creative cat cards. We had to draw pictures with our eyes closed and our team mate had to say what it was. This was much harder than you would think...our picture drawing was HORRIBLE and we were all laughing so hard we were in tears!

OMG...still crying. I wish I took pictures of the nonsense he drew. It was so hilarious!

Jason more calm with his drawing.

Adam had to mold clay and we had to guess what it was.

Adam is trying to figure out what she's drawing...

...but he can't. Ha!

I took a few more...

I love this one!!!

Aw!

What?

Another, "betch I'm on the phone!" look. If looks could kill.

Bored and on the drive back home...no makeup except sunscreen and spf lip stuff. Making the dorky kissy face.

I found a mustache in the car from the mustache party...that was in December! Since I didn't have my eyebrows filled in, I figured this looked better. :-P

It migrated.

You can click on the pic to enlarge it. Apparently the largest prairie dog in the world is in Kansas. Didn't stop to see it though.

So that was my trip. Nothing special but lotsa fun. :-)
